Description
A cross-sectional study conducted between October 2022 and April 2023 investigated the knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) regarding fatty liver disease among 1,006 residents of Shanghai, China. The dataset, uploaded by Xue Yang, contains questionnaire responses analyzed to produce average KAP scores and correlations. Structural equation modeling revealed direct and indirect influences between knowledge, attitude, and practice.
Use Cases
Analyzing correlations between health knowledge and preventive behaviors based on the reported KAP scores and correlation coefficients.
Modeling the structural relationships between knowledge, attitude, and practice using the provided beta coefficients from structural equation modeling.
Benchmarking public awareness levels for fatty liver disease based on the reported average knowledge score of 7.06 out of 13.
Designing targeted health education campaigns based on the identified gaps in knowledge and moderate practice scores.
Strengths
Includes data from 1,006 questionnaire respondents, providing a substantive sample size for analysis.
Reports specific statistical results, including average KAP scores, correlation (r=0.41), and structural equation model coefficients (β values).
Clearly defines the study's temporal coverage from October 2022 to April 2023 and geographic focus on Shanghai, China.
Limitations
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment for certain modeling tasks.
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
