Molecular Epidemiology of Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacter in Northeast China

123 clinical isolates of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacter cloacae complex were analyzed using whole-genome sequencing from July 2019 to March 2025. The data characterizes genotypes, resistance determinants, and transmission dynamics, with Enterobacter hormaechei as the predominant species (92.7%). It reveals dominant clonal lineages ST171 and ST1120 and identifies blaNDM-5 and blaNDM-1 as the primary resistance genes.
