Description
A multi-omics dataset characterizing soil phenotypes, microbiomes, and metabolomes from five sampling sites near the Moutai production area across spring and autumn seasons. The data was generated by Qiong Li using high-throughput sequencing and untargeted metabolomics, and was last updated in April 2026. It includes measurements of microbial biomass, dominant taxa, differential metabolites, and multi-omics correlations.
Use Cases
Identify region-specific marker microorganisms based on soil microbiome profiles.
Analyze seasonal variations in soil metabolite profiles, particularly in Region A.
Explore correlations between fungal taxa (e.g., Ascomycota) and flavor precursor metabolites like phenylpropanoids.
Model the impact of geographical location on soil ecological profiles for beverage production.
Strengths
Integrates three data types: soil phenotypes, microbiomes, and metabolomes.
Samples from five distinct geographical sites across two seasons.
Multi-omics correlation analysis links specific microbial taxa to flavor precursor metabolites.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
The dataset is small (42.0 KB), indicating a limited scope of observations.
