HALP Index and Mortality Across Metabolic Syndrome Spectrum: NHANES 1999-2010

10,770 adult participants from the U.S. NHANES 1999-2010 survey were followed through 2019 to assess the prognostic value of the HALP index. The hemoglobin-albumin-lymphocyte-platelet index was found to have a nonlinear, L-shaped association with all-cause and cardiovascular mortality.
