The study by Wenshan Zhao integrates field tillage and in-situ micro-zone degradation experiments to examine microbial inoculant M44 combined with three straw returning methods. Results show straw degradation rate increases of 2.33–9.81 percentage points and half-life reductions of 20.7–62.8 days.
