210 participants, including 68 with normal cognition, 75 with mild cognitive impairment due to AD, and 67 with dementia due to AD, were enrolled in this study by Yali Chen, last updated in May 2026. It investigates the relationship between circulating biomarkers of one-carbon metabolism and glymphatic system function, measured via the DTI-ALPS index. The findings suggest a potential association between metabolic status and glymphatic function linked to cognitive performance in Alzheimer's disease.
