Description
6 prognostic genes (RGS20, ADA, AICDA, SLC12A5, RUFY4, CDK5RAP3) were identified for clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) through an integrated analysis of bulk and single-cell transcriptomic data. The dataset, created by Yao Jiang and last updated in April 2026, contains results from a risk model, functional enrichment, immune infiltration, and somatic mutation analyses. It is a small dataset, 305.8 KB in size, shared under a CC-BY-4.0 license.
Use Cases
Validating prognostic risk scores for ccRCC patients based on the 6-gene signature.
Investigating immune cell infiltration differences between high-risk and low-risk patient groups.
Analyzing cell communication patterns, particularly between malignant cells and T cells, as described in the single-cell analysis.
Studying the role of ammonia metabolism-related genes in cancer progression and cell death pathways.
Strengths
The prognostic model is based on an integrated analysis of both bulk and single-cell transcriptomic data.
Results were validated with Reverse transcription quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR), showing consistent upregulation of the 6 genes (p < 0.05).
Analysis includes multiple dimensions: functional enrichment, immune infiltration, and somatic mutation profiling.
Limitations
Row count and specific column definitions are unknown, requiring manual inspection after download.
The dataset's 305.8 KB size suggests it contains summary or model results, not the raw underlying transcriptomic data.
Freshness should be verified; the last update is listed as 2026-04-23, which is a future date.
Provenance
Source
Transcriptomic data retrieved from public resources, as stated in the description.
Collection Method
Integrated analysis of bulk and single-cell transcriptomics using differential expression, machine learning for prognostic gene filtering, and subsequent validation assays.
