Description
2800 km of bathymetric and seismic reflection profiles covering about 110,000 km² of the Argo Abyssal Plain, analyzed by the Australian Ocean Data Network. The data reveals the tectonic and sedimentary history from the Late Jurassic to the present, including newly identified structural features like the Joey, Wombat, and Kivi Grabens. Five sedimentary sequences have been correlated with ODP Site 765 and DSDP Site 261, representing strata from the uppermost Jurassic to the Plio-Pleistocene.
