Neotectonic fault uplift rates exceeding 0.1 mm/yr have been quantified for Australia's highest mountain region. The dataset results from lidar-based digital elevation model interpretation, field investigations, and optically stimulated luminescence and cosmogenic radionuclide dating. Geoscience Australia Data published this research on 2026-05-19 to constrain the contribution of late Quaternary faulting to landscape evolution.
