Indian Ocean profiles collected from the FRANKLIN vessel between May 7 and May 31, 1996, include dissolved oxygen, hydrostatic pressure, nitrate, salinity, water temperature, phosphate, and silicate. The data were gathered using CTD and bottle instruments by Peter McIntosh of CSIRO as part of the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) Hydrographic Program. This cruise contributes to a larger collection of approximately 23,000 stations from 94 WOCE cruises aimed at understanding the ocean's role in climate.
Dataset is associated with multiple identifiers: NCEI Accession 0143942, cruise IDs FR05/96 and WOCE_ISS03_1996, and program code WOCE_ISS03_09FA19960507.
