250 adult paranasal multidetector computed tomography scans with 0.625 mm section thickness were analyzed to categorize 500 vidian canal variants. Gülay Açar's study found the most common variant was Type 1, within the sphenoid corpus (55.6%), while Type 3, within the sphenoid sinus, was the least common (9.6%). The research provides morphometric measurements, such as a mean angle of 33.05 ± 7.71° between anatomical landmarks, to inform endoscopic surgical approaches.
