Health Canada's Radiological Monitoring Network provides monthly tritium activity concentration measurements in becquerels per cubic meter (Bq/m³) from atmospheric water vapor. The data covers monitoring stations in Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick, primarily near nuclear power plants. An average concentration of 0.22 Bq/m³ was reported for the period 2004 to 2013.
Tritium values are derived from liquid scintillator measurements requiring background subtraction, which can lead to reported concentrations below zero. The license is ca-ogl-lgo (Open Government Licence - Canada).
