Chromosome-Level Castor Plant Genome Assemblies for Parental Lines SKI-215 and SKP-84

Two high-quality chromosome-level genome assemblies were constructed for the parental lines of the GCH-7 castor variety using Oxford Nanopore and Illumina sequencing data. The 4.8 GB dataset, created by Nitin Shukla and last updated in April 2026, provides a foundational genetic resource for the castor plant Ricinus communis L.
