One Tree Reef, a 5.5 km by 3 km asymmetrical triangular reef in the Capricorn Group, evolved from a karst platform 10-25m below sea level. The dataset describes its formation from before 9600-9000 years B.P., with vertical and lateral accretion leading to its present shape influenced by a southeasterly wave regime by 4400 years B.P.
