One Tree Reef is a 5.5 km long, 3 km wide asymmetrical triangular reef in the Capricorn Group. The dataset describes its evolution from a karst platform 10-25m below sea level, emergent before 9600-9000 years B.P., to its present shape influenced by a southeasterly wave regime established by 4400 years B.P. Geoscience Australia Data provides this information on the reef's geomorphology and lagoonal sedimentation processes.
