Only two cases of Candida infective endocarditis were identified among 221 pediatric patients with positive Candida blood or catheter cultures over a nine-year period. Ahu Kara conducted this retrospective study at a tertiary hospital, analyzing 256 infection attacks from January 2007 to January 2016. The most common Candida species was Candida parapsilosis, isolated in 61.3% of attacks.
