A retrospective study of 85 eyes from 67 patients evaluated the influence of Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy size and shape on visual outcomes. The research, authored by Servet Çetinkaya, divided patients into four groups based on capsulotomy shape (cruciate or circular) and opening size (≤3.5 mm or >3.5 mm). Mean patient age was 57.57 years, with a mean interval of 26.09 months between initial surgery and the capsulotomy procedure.
