Lord Howe Rise Seismic Data for Continental Ribbon Study, 2016

680 km of east-west oriented seismic refraction and reflection data were acquired onboard the JAMSTEC vessel R/V Kairei in March–May 2016. This dataset, presented at the 2016 Seismological Society of Japan Fall Meeting, includes wide-angle seismic data from ~100 ocean-bottom seismometers, multi-channel seismic reflection, multibeam bathymetry, gravity, and magnetic data. It aims to constrain the geometry of sedimentary basins and the nature of basement from oceanic to continental crust.
