Two shapefiles contain socioeconomic indicator values for each coastal county and Census Designated Place in the Gulf of America. This data was designed to support Aquaculture Opportunity Area development and evaluate fishing industry changes. Amy Freitag from the NCCOS Social Science Dataverse collected the indicators in 2021 as a snapshot in time.
