2,227 articles were initially identified in a literature review examining the role of pain catastrophizing in the prognosis and treatment of elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis. The review, authored by Guilherme Andrade Baliza, included six studies after screening and concluded that catastrophizing was the only variable significantly contributing to worse recovery outcomes after total knee arthroplasty. The search covered databases including Medline, Embase, and Cochrane up to June 2012.
The dataset is a literature review summary, not raw patient or clinical trial data.
