A study by Dion D'Mello published on figshare in 2026 evaluated the test-retest reliability of two dynamometers for measuring hip muscle strength in cyclists. The dataset contains peak force measurements from 25 recreational cyclists (22 males, mean age 36.64 years) tested twice, approximately 72 hours apart. It includes results for hip flexion and extension using a belt-stabilized handheld dynamometer and a fixed-frame dynamometer.
