The dataset includes heterogeneous data sources collected from telemetry datasets of IoT and IIoT sensors, operating systems datasets of Windows 7 and 10 as well as Ubuntu 14 and 18 TLS, and network traffic datasets. It was collected from a realistic and large-scale network designed at the University of New South Wales. The dataset was uploaded to HuggingFace by codymlewis and last updated on December 6, 2024.
Use Cases
- Train intrusion detection models based on heterogeneous network traffic data.
- Analyze telemetry patterns from IoT and IIoT sensors for anomaly detection.
- Compare security event logs across Windows and Ubuntu operating system datasets.
Strengths
- Includes data from multiple heterogeneous sources: IoT/IIoT telemetry, Windows and Ubuntu OS logs, and network traffic.
- Collected from a realistic and large-scale network designed for research.
Limitations
- Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
- Row count, file formats, and license are unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
