Description
Aeromagnetic survey data collected over the northern half of NTS 105-I in Yukon, Canada. The data were acquired by EON Geosciences Inc. between April 12 and June 2, 2010, using a cesium vapour magnetometer flown at a nominal terrain clearance of 250 meters. The levelled magnetic values were interpolated to a 200-meter grid, and the International Geomagnetic Reference Field was not removed.
Use Cases
Map regional geological structures based on magnetic anomalies.
Support mineral exploration targeting based on magnetic signatures.
Conduct geophysical research using high-sensitivity (0.005 nT) magnetic field measurements.
Integrate with other geospatial datasets for geological modeling of the area.
Strengths
Data collected with a high-sensitivity instrument (0.005 nT).
Flight lines were computer-analysed and levelled to minimize intersection errors.
Survey flown at a low nominal terrain clearance of 250 meters for detailed resolution.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
The International Geomagnetic Reference Field (IGRF) was not removed from the magnetic field values.
