Description
A 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami benchmark dataset for validating hydrodynamic models across generation, propagation, and inundation stages. The data, from the Australian Ocean Data Network, incorporates geodetic earthquake measurements, satellite altimetry, eyewitness accounts, and a detailed inundation survey of Patong Bay, Thailand. It was used to validate the ANUGA hydrodynamic modeling tool.
