A geospatial dataset provides a digital representation of Australia's international maritime boundaries determined by treaties with neighboring countries. It was published by Geoscience Australia in consultation with other Commonwealth agencies and updated in May 2014. The coverage spans the entire Australian marine jurisdiction, from approximately 8°S to 70°S latitude and 39°E to 174°E longitude.
In the event of an inconsistency between this digital data and the limits under any treaty, the treaty text prevails.
