Magnetotelluric data from seven stations in eastern California were collected in October 2001 by the U.S. Geological Survey. The dataset provides a two-dimensional apparent resistivity model to investigate concealed geologic structures beneath the Earth's surface. This study aimed to examine the transition zone between the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Basin and Range province.
