A 72-question survey conducted in 2016 assessed the impact of solar street lighting on safety and activity patterns in Uganda's Rhino Camp refugee settlement. The survey, administered by researchers, collected responses from over 80,000 residents, predominantly South Sudanese refugees and female heads of household. It focused on day- and nighttime activities, locations, and fears of violence, theft, and harassment.
