Himawari-8 Satellite Sea Surface Temperature Data for Dynamic Ocean Phenomena

Himawari-8 satellite data provides high-frequency 10-minute and ~2km resolution sea surface temperature (SST) observations. The dataset was used to investigate the Bonney Coast upwelling, East Australian Current variations, and Madden-Julian Oscillation diurnal SST signals between 2015 and 2017.
