Uzbekistan: Subnational Dekadal Rainfall Indicators and Forecasts

Uzbekistan subnational rainfall data provided by the World Food Programme features dekadal indicators derived from CHIRPS satellite imagery and GEFS forecasts. The data includes historical averages and anomalies aggregated by administrative units using WFP Pcodes.

Use Cases

• Drought monitoring using the rainfall anomaly percentage (rfq) to identify regions with precipitation deficits
• Agricultural planning by comparing current 3-month rolling aggregations (r3h) against long-term averages (r3h_avg)
• Assessing data reliability for specific regions using the pixel count (n_pixels) used for aggregation
