Sediment cores from seven lakes document the White River Ash, a volcanic deposit from 1147 years ago. The depth of sediment above the ash layer ranges from 38 to 98 cm, while the ash thickness itself varies between 0.1 and 32 cm. This dataset, published by the Government of Yukon, is intended for interpreting the impact of past volcanic events on the environment.
