A 2026 update from the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action provides modelled spatial layers of coastal cliff instability along the Victorian coastline for a 2100 scenario with 0.8m sea level rise. The dataset includes outputs for both gradual toe erosion and episodic cliff instability events, superseding previous Stage 1 assessments. Application is recommended at statewide or regional scales, not for individual property assessments.
