The dataset consists of 3,300 land units, totaling approximately 225,000 polygons, derived from around 100 surveys conducted over the past 70 years. It was developed by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, combining data from the Victorian Soil Information System and other sources, with a reliability index assigned to each unit.
Available in multiple geospatial formats (TAB, SHP, GDB, etc.); users may need GIS software to view and analyze the data.
