122 stations on the Carnarvon Shelf were surveyed between 12 August and 15 September 2008, collecting underwater video footage and still images from depths of 13-125 meters. The survey was conducted by Geoscience Australia and the Australian Institute of Marine Science aboard the R.V. Solander to gather data for testing physical parameters as surrogates for benthic biodiversity. Video was recorded to mini DV tapes and archived at AIMS-WA, with still images and screen captures available in separate libraries.
Data is available in HTML format, which likely links to image libraries rather than containing raw data files directly.
