Underwater video footage and still images collected from 122 stations on the Carnarvon Shelf, Australia, between 12 August and 15 September 2008. The survey was conducted by Geoscience Australia and the Australian Institute of Marine Science aboard the R.V. Solander. The objective was to collect co-located data to test physical parameters as surrogates for benthic biodiversity patterns.
Video footage was originally recorded to mini DV tapes and copied to digital format; the original tapes are archived at AIMS-WA. File format is listed as HTML, which may indicate a metadata page rather than direct data access.
