The Carnarvon Shelf Survey collected underwater video footage and still images from 122 stations at depths between 13 and 125 meters. Conducted by the Australian Institute of Marine Science and Geoscience Australia aboard the R.V. Solander between 12 August and 15 September 2008, this survey aimed to gather co-located data for testing physical surrogates of benthic biodiversity. Video was recorded to mini DV tapes and digitized, while images are categorized by area (Mandu, Point Cloates, Gnarloo) and station.
Original mini DV tapes are archived at AIMS-WA; accessed data is likely the digitized copy. File format is listed as HTML, which may indicate a metadata page rather than direct data files.
