The SOL5117 survey collected underwater video footage and 12-megapixel still photographic images from 79 stations across two legs in the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf during 2010. The survey was conducted by Geoscience Australia in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Marine Science and the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. It aimed to map geohazards and sensitive seabed environments, collecting data from banks, channels, and plains along a north-south transect.
File organization and naming conventions are described (e.g., 'stn48CAM35'), but specific file formats and license details are unknown.
