TAN0713: Deep-Sea Video and Images from Eastern Australian Margin

Between 7 October and 22 November 2007, the TAN0713 survey collected 42 video transects and 6,229 still photographs in water depths of 259-2,260 meters. The survey was conducted by Geoscience Australia in collaboration with NIWA, Fugro Robertson Inc., and the University of the Sea to explore deep-sea habitats and assess petroleum potential. Video footage was recorded on mini DV tapes and later converted to digital format.
