Daily global data produced using 16 days of observations at 30 arc second (1,000 meter) resolution, temporally weighted to the ninth day. The VNP43D42 product contains the valid observation quality layer for VIIRS band M1, part of a suite designed for climate simulation models on a Climate Modeling Grid (CMG). It is one of several layers in the VNP43D product family, which includes BRDF/Albedo Quality, Local Solar Noon, Valid Observations for multiple bands, Snow Status, and Uncertainty.
