A research study assessed vocal features in 34 adult patients undergoing methadone therapy for substance addiction. Subjective evaluation used the Roughness-Breathiness-Hoarseness scale, while objective analysis measured acoustic parameters from sustained vowel recordings. The work by Veljko Mirkov found statistically significant correlations between subjective and objective vocal assessment parameters.
