New Jersey, USA, coastline data includes lidar-derived topographic change measurements following Hurricane Sandy (2012) and a compilation of 35 washover measurements from six published studies. The dataset provides quantitative metrics like deposit width, intrusion length, area, and volume for coastal overwash deposits. It is intended for analyzing the geomorphic impact of storms and validating models of coastal sediment transport.
The dataset portfolio includes multiple file types (CSV, ZIP). The underlying raw lidar data is hosted externally on the NOAA Digital Coast Data Viewer.
