Gulf of Mexico Water Temperature and Depth from Ships, 1994

From October 9 to December 6, 1994, bathythermograph (XBT) data on water depth and temperature was collected in the Gulf of Mexico from the ships GYRE and J. W. POWELL. The data was submitted by Dr. Edward Webb of Texas A&M University as part of the Ship Of Opportunity Programme (SOOP) and Texas Institutions Gulf Ecosystem Research Program. It is archived by NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information under accession 9500026.
