Southern Ocean Water Temperature Profiles from XBT Probes, January 2010

January 2010 vertical temperature profiles collected from the research vessel Italica during a cruise between New Zealand and the Ross Sea. The data consists of quality-controlled temperature profiles from Sippican T7 Expendable Bathythermograph (XBT) probes, with a vertical resolution of 65 cm and a maximum nominal depth of 760 m. It was gathered as part of the CLIMA phase IV project of the Italian National Antarctic Research Programme (PNRA).
