2007 to 2011 annual maps show the suitability of UK climate conditions for infection by Phytophthora ramorum and Phytophthora kernoviae pathogens. The model is based on laboratory data of environmental responses and hourly temperature and relative humidity regimes, calculating potential infection cycles. This research was funded by the Scottish Government and involved collaborators from St Andrews University, SASA, SNH, Forestry Commission, FERA, and CEH.
Data is provided as a Web Map Service (WMS), which may require specific geospatial tools to access and analyze.
