Total magnetic intensity (TMI) data measures variations in the Earth's magnetic field caused by rock-forming minerals. This geodetic grid for Western Australia has a cell size of 0.0025 degrees (approximately 266m) with units in nanoTesla (nT). The data was acquired in 2005 by the WA Government and processed by GA geophysicists.
Available in specialized geospatial formats (WCS, APPLICATION/X-NETCDF, WMS, HTML), which may require specific GIS or scientific software to use.
