Total magnetic intensity (TMI) data measures variations in the Earth's magnetic field caused by rock-forming minerals. This grid covers Western Australia onshore and marine areas with a cell size of 0.0025 degrees (approximately 266m) and units in nanoTesla. The data was acquired in 2005 by the WA Government and processed by GA geophysicists.
File formats include WCS, HTML, APPLICATION/X-NETCDF, WMS; specialized geospatial software may be required for analysis.
