Environment Agency data classifies river water bodies in the United Kingdom for dissolved oxygen (DO) into categories of High, Good, Moderate, Poor, and Bad. The classification is based on spot sampling monitoring data assessed against environmental quality standards derived from site typology. This dataset is part of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) Cycle 2 classification for ecological status and has been retired, superseded by a newer record.
