Geochemical overview maps present inorganic material data from soils in Saxony as interpolated raster data at a 1:400,000 scale. Depending on the element, analyses from between 13,000 and 19,000 locations were used to map the upper soil layers. The data originates from multiple measurement programs aggregated by the Saxon State Office for Environment, Agriculture and Geology.
Data is served via a Web Feature Service (WFS), which may require specific GIS tools for access and analysis.
