Description
Monthly point-in-time extracts from the Chicago Integrated Personnel and Payroll System (CHIPPS) detail personnel occupancy and vacancy by position. The dataset includes columns for DEPARTMENT, DIVISION, SECTION, TITLE, FUND TYPE, EMPLOYEES IN POSITION, NUMBER OF VACANCIES, and TOTAL POSITIONS. Data is published by the City of Chicago on the first business day of each month.
Use Cases
Analyze vacancy rates across city DEPARTMENTS and DIVISIONS using NUMBER OF VACANCIES and TOTAL POSITIONS columns.
