Meat consumption data for beef and veal, pig, poultry, and sheep, measured in thousand tonnes and kilograms per capita, with projections up to 2026. The dataset was refreshed in 2018 and originates from the OECD/FAO Agricultural Outlook database. It covers all EU 28 member countries and uses country codes, meat types, years, and specific measures for its five columns.
License is Open Database for the database and Database Contents for the contents. Carcass weight to retail weight conversion factors are provided: 0.7 for beef and veal, 0.78 for pig meat, and 0.88 for both sheep meat and poultry meat.
