Microplastic contamination data from mussels collected at 7 stations around England and Wales in November 2022. The dataset records microplastic load per mussel, per individual and per gram of tissue wet weight, and includes separate files for fluorescent items only and all items including non-plastic microlitter. Data originated from the CleanAtlantic project, an Interreg-funded initiative (2017-2023) coordinated by CETMAR, to assess mussels as a sentinel species for microplastics in the North Atlantic.
Three major water-erosion-prone regions in China—the Northeast Rolling Hills, Sichuan Basin, and Yunnan–Guizhou Plateau—accounting for about 20% of China's land area. The dataset contains soil sample data from 48 plots collected during the 2021 harvest season, analyzing microbial community structure, enzyme activities, and carbon release. It was authored by shengzhao wei and shared on figshare under a CC-BY-4.0 license.
OpenStreetMap data points for financial services in Angola, including banks, ATMs, post offices, money transfer agents, and microfinance branches. The Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) compiled this data via volunteer mapping, with the export last updated on 2026-05-10. Completeness of mapping likely varies between urban and remote areas.
Midwest USA satellite data provides estimated solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) for specific vegetation types at a 4 km resolution. The dataset contains 8-day averaged daily means for the 2018 crop growing season, derived from TROPOMI, USDA Cropland Data Layer, and MODIS fPAR products. NASA produced these estimates to improve vegetation productivity and stress assessments.
Five data files contain eight years of physical and chemical measurements from the Aldeia River basin in central Rondonia, Brazil, spanning 1994 to 2001. The dataset includes stream bed characteristics, discharge data, and chemical analyses of streamwater and soil water extracted by lysimeters at 30 cm and 100 cm depths. It was collected at Fazenda Nova Vida, a large cattle ranch 50 km from Ariquemes, to characterize hydrological processes and land use impacts.
Landsat-derived global rainfed-cropland product maps agricultural lands at 30-meter resolution for the nominal year 2020. The dataset, produced by NASA using Landsat 8 time-series data from 2019-2021, classifies land into rainfed single crop, rainfed crop mixed with natural vegetation, non-rainfed land, and water bodies. It is an extension of the Global Food Security-support Analysis Data project, with Version 2 currently covering only the conterminous United States.
Cauxi, Para, Brazil is the location for this dataset of canopy measurements from an undisturbed eastern Amazon forest. The NASA-led LBA-ECO project collected data during a one-time field event in 2000, using a hand-held laser range finder and manual DBH measurements. It includes parameters like Crown Width, Crown Depth, Tree Height, and DBH, and was compared to a contemporaneous IKONOS satellite image for validation.
July 2004 data from two NASA ER-2 flights over California captures calibrated radiance across 50 spectral bands from 0.460 to 12.879 micrometers. The dataset includes Level 1B georeferenced imagery at ~50-meter resolution and derived Level 2 products for emissivity and land surface temperature. NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center coordinated this deployment for mapping farmland and recent wildfire sites.
Standardized 1-degree gridded data for North America, containing five observation files and simulation results from 18 terrestrial biosphere and seven inverse models. The dataset was produced by the NACP Modeling and Synthesis Thematic Data Center (MAST-DC) for regional synthesis activities. It is stored in Climate and Forecast convention netCDF format with monthly or yearly temporal resolution.
Field measurement datasets for the UKRI Perennial Biomass Crops for Greenhouse Gas Reduction demonstrator project. It contains plant organ biomass, site meteorology, soil data, water content, carbon flux, and light interception, along with modelled growth variables. The dataset accompanies a manuscript submitted to GCB Bioenergy in April 2026.
NYC TLC Licensed Street Hail Livery drivers currently active and in good standing. The dataset is updated daily between 4–7 PM and provides a real-time roster of authorized SHL (Green Cab) drivers. It includes license status, expiration dates, and the last update timestamp for verification.
511 forested plots across ~140,000 km2 in two ecozones of Canada's Northwest Territories provide data on post-fire soil and vegetation recovery. Measurements from 2015 to 2018 include soil organic layer thickness, carbon content, tree density, and nonvascular plant cover across 41 wildfire scars and unburned areas. The dataset was produced by NASA and offers a detailed ground-level view of boreal forest ecosystem dynamics following disturbance.
105 Braconinae wasp specimens, along with five outgroup taxa, are listed with provenance and genetic identifiers. The dataset supports a taxonomic review of the genus Philomacroploea, including new host and food plant records for Braconinae. It was authored by Mostafa Ghafouri Moghaddam and last updated on 2026-05-28.
Approximately fifty land cover classifications characterize southern Africa's vegetation and soils at a 1-degree latitude and longitude resolution. This dataset, collated from forestry, agriculture, land use, and soil maps, was created by Wilson and Henderson-Sellers for use in general circulation climate models. It provides a coherent archive of primary and secondary vegetation types, soil color, texture, drainage, and reliability rankings.
NASA's 2022 SHIFT campaign collected paired leaf images and physical measurements from three California reserves over a seven-month period. The dataset includes plot-level calculations for leaf area, mass, water content, and chlorophyll, intended for validating remote sensing products. Associated Python code and image scans allow for reproduction of the leaf area calculations.
A mechanical sampling system collected suspended sediment and tidal current velocity data over One Tree Reef in the southern Great Barrier Reef. Suspension loads were collected at selected levels of the flooding and falling tide using siphon systems, and water movement was monitored with dye casts and bidirectional current meters. The results show large, tidally fluctuating suspension-load fluxes, important for sediment transport into lagoons.
Over 40 years of data from 1972 to 2015 synthesize soil organic carbon stocks and environmental variables for tidal wetlands across the conterminous United States. Compiled by NASA from multiple existing resources, the dataset includes estuary classifications, land cover, water chemistry, and climate metrics for each catchment. This compilation supports analysis of carbon distribution and its correlation with coastal environmental factors.
Observations of water movement at One Tree Reef under modal wind, wave, and tide conditions show lagoon currents are insufficient to entrain sediments. The data, hosted by the Australian Ocean Data Network, was last updated on 2026-06-04. Findings may apply to other reefs with well-developed lagoons in the southern Great Barrier Reef and similar reefs elsewhere.
